Priscilla “Sally” Linaweaver, 70, of Lansing, Kan., passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012, with her family surrounding her. She was born Dec. 6, 1941, in Leavenworth, the daughter of Norman and Velva (Allen) King.
She graduated from Lansing High School. On July 9, 1960, she married Glenn L. Linaweaver at Bethel Baptist Church in Lansing, Kan., sharing almost 52 years together. He survives at the home. She has two daughters, Vickie (Paul) Clipston and Sally (Jim) Nelson. Sally adored and loved her grandchildren, Alyshia, Ashly and Joshua Clipston and Bryan, McKenzie and Matthew Nelson. Other survivors include her sisters, Patricia (twin sister) Robinson, Mary (George) Lingenfelter, Norma Anderson and Ruth (Jack) Loewenstein.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents.
Sally enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
